The King George Church of God is building a more than a youth group – we are building an army of Christian soldiers dedicated to reaching a lost generation by preaching the uncompromised Gospel of Christ, and living up to that standard.

We’re so dedicated to this call that we’ve given our youth their own church building! That’s right – at 11a.m. on Sundays, Chosen Generation meets at our old church, located at 8367 Hoover Drive. Parents, just bring your teens to the main church. We’ll take them to their service and bring them back to you.

At the youth church, the teens provide the praise music. The teens take up the offering. And Pastor Josh speaks on issues that matter to and affect the teens.

Simply put, it’s all about you.

We know you face challenges like no other generation before. From depleted morals in society to increasing drug use and promiscuity, you have a lot going against you. At the youth church, you won’t get dry sermons written 30 years ago. You’ll get the truth. The truth about what is going on out there, the truth about how it affects you – and the truth about how you can overcome.

Monthly events planned range from visits by professional Christian athletes to retreats and camping trips. Chosen Generation also helps out in many service projects such as helping the needy, and the group will be attending the state youth camp in Roanoke this summer.

Make no mistake, the youth church isn’t a social club and it’s not for wimps. It’s for those who are courageous and strong enough to make a difference in the world. Our youths are not tossed to the back of the church during service. They are ministers of the Gospel who are ordained and anointed to reach the unreachable!
