That's
our motto at Precious Gems daycare. Since 1997, our Christian child care
center has been committed to providing you and your children a
Christ-centered, safe, and affordable childcare environment. At
Precious Gems you will find:
Our
program focuses first and foremost on teaching the morals and values
prescribed in the Christian Bible. The center’s varied resources also
provide each child with a variety of choices in learning experiences
that challenge the imagination and stimulates the development of
thinking skills. Daily, children participate in activities, which
include music, pre-math, pre-reading, and pre-writing skills, creative
art, dramatic play and development of large and small muscles through
games and outside play.
Precious Gems welcomes all children irrespective of
ethnic background, race or color. God does not judge the individual
based on his color, nor do we. In fact, we embrace the diversity of
culture that makes this nation the beautiful melting pot it is, and
teach the children to do the same.
We invite you to tour our state-of-the-art kitchen, which meets and exceeds all local, state and federal health and nutrition regulations. Our program includes a food service program, which provides a hot/cold breakfast, a hot/cold lunch, and an afternoon snack.
Your child’s emotional, physical, social and intellectual needs
are carefully and affectionately met by a staff of caring adults who
understand how children see the world. We see this daycare as a ministry
and a service to the community, and we treat you as such!
We are determined to provide your children a safe,
secure Christian environment. We have installed a top-line security
program that ensures no one can come in without permission, and no one
but you and our staff has access to your children. Our three-way fire
system not only brings immediate response, but also ensures from no
child will be left behind in an emergency. In addition, all of our
teachers are trained in CPR and first aid.
A child’s development isn’t confined to the
classroom, and our staff understands the strong cognitive and motor
skills will prepare a child for the years ahead. Daily, children
participate in crafts, games and outside play designed to develop
muscles, balance and coordination, as well as fostering teamwork and
friendship. At the heart of this effort is an awesome 3,700 square-foot
commercial playground that promises fun for all ages.
